Cast Away, "your local yarn shop", is in the heart of Railroad Square. We sell mostly natural fiber yarns from your everyday workhorse yarns to luxury yarns. We offer knitting, crochet and felting classes and drop-in help as well.

Cast Away is filled with yarn and cozy places to sit- we always have a pot of tea ready for you. Come in and see the boat full of yarn, browse the book and pattern selection, have a cup of tea- and pet the yarn!

Assistance League Thrift Shop has been offering quality resale merchandise in Historic Railroad Square since 1969. It is located on West Sixth Street with parking behind the shop. Walk the aisles of clothing, housewares and collectibles. There is something for everyone! Experience the fun of a treasure hunt while shopping for merchandise at outstanding values.

Assistance League is a non-profit organization operated by dedicated volunteers. All proceeds from the shop benefit our programs which respond to unmet needs in the community.

6th Playhouse is a performing arts theater that engages, entertains and inspires a diverse community. We do this by consistently producing plays, musicals, and educational programs that are of the highest quality and reach the broadest possible constituency.

The 6th Street Playhouse has received the City of Santa Rosa Award for Cultural Enrichment and the Sonoma County Historical Society Award for Perservation of a Historical Building.
