WHAT: “The 1940s Radio Hour”
By Walton Jones
The perfect sentimental journey for the holidays is this trip back to 1942. The 6th Street Playhouse takes audiences back to the golden days of radio with the musical-comedy “The 1940s Radio Hour,” featuring Big Band music, swing dancing, stars and stripes and old-fashioned sound effects. Tap your toes and hum along to popular tunes of the era and laugh along as the WOV radio producer copes with his cast, crew and show business hopefuls.
